When a global pandemic disrupted Iowa’s plans for an in-person commencement ceremony, our team quickly pivoted to create a memorable experience that could be mailed directly to new grads. Using Iowa’s brand elements, we created a custom mailer that included a commemorative program featuring vivid campus imagery and inspirational stories about the Hawkeye community working together. In addition to the program, graduates received a welcome postcard from the Alumni Association, a lapel pin, diploma cover, and sticker—all wrapped in custom Iowa tissue paper.
